The Veil-less Bride: Breaking the bridal mold

As a wedding photographer, I see all sorts of trends come and go from year to year.  However, one trend in particular that I’ve seen becoming more and more popular over the years is brides going veil-less.  With so many gorgeous hairstyles and hair accessories out there today, brides are able to show off their personal wedding style and personality sans veil.   For some brides, myself included, breaking the veil tradition is more of a personal preference.   For example, when I got married eight years ago, wearing a veil just didn’t feel like ME, not to mention I had an outdoor wedding and didn’t really want to have a veil flying around my head like a misquito net if we happened to have a windy day.
