NOW BOOKING! Limited edition Fall family portrait sessions in OKC | Oklahoma family portrait photographer

Six days and five different locations!  Freshen up your family’s photos with some fun Fall portraits.  Details below!  Fall is my absolute favorite season for portrait sessions.  With my own family’s portraits, I try to do Spring portraits and Fall portraits, but if we get too busy to do both, we ALWAYS do our Fall portraits.  There’s just something about the smell of Fall and all the goodness we tend to associate with it – colorful leaves, pumpkins, fuzzy socks, flannel pajamas, hot tea or cocoa, sweaters and scarves, yummy feasts – that makes it the perfect season for families and togetherness.  Let’s make some family portrait memories together!

What happens after the session?

You FINALLY got your family portraits taken…  Now what?  Well, that’s what I’m here for.  At the heart of my business is me acting as a guide to help you decide how to best show off your gorgeous new portraits so that you didn’t spend all that time stressing over what to wear, primping, driving, posing (probably in uncomfortable temps, knowing Oklahoma), and dealing with whiny kids just to have your portraits end up stuck on your computer in digital purgatory. We all have that massive stash of digital photos just sitting on our computers or phones or in Dropbox/GoogleDrive/OneDrive that we always meant to do something with but never did – life happens!  So basically, I help get you past the point of just admiring your photos on a computer or cell phone screen and getting those suckers printed and on display in your home while the portraits are still relevant to this point in your lives.

That’s where our in-person portrait reveal and ordering consult comes in.  Immediately after we do your session, we’ll schedule a time 1-2 weeks out to get together at my home-based gallery in Edmond so I can reveal your portraits and help you get your awesome new photo products ordered.  The focus in my photography business is to get you (as stress-free as possible) from booking to finished art that is ready to showcase or hang in your home.

Q: What do products cost?

A: Here’s a link to my current product menu.   I also usually offer a couple of special print/product/digital packages during the portrait reveal, and you’ll receive 10% off any a la carte products purchased during the portrait reveal (10% off excludes digital files, print/product/digital packages, and press products like Christmas cards).

Q: Can I just purchase the digital files?

A:  Yes and no.  While I don’t require a minimum purchase for this session type, because I do want you to end up with something beautiful that you can showcase or hang in your home, I require a minimum $250 print/product order (after applicable discounts but before tax and shipping) before digital files can be purchased.  After that $250 minimum print/product purchase has been met, digital files can then be purchased for $60/file, $150 for 5 files, or $250 for the entire set of files.

Q: How many photos do you present at the portrait reveal?

A:  It can sometimes vary by how cooperative the younger participants are during the session, but on average I present 15-20 enhanced images from the session.

Q: What if we have more than 5 people?

A:  No problem, my 45 minute Classic Custom session is just what you need.  With my custom sessions, you get more time for your session and you would be able to choose the date and time as well as location.

Q: What happens if the weather is too bad to do the sessions on the scheduled day?

A:  Oklahoma weather is a tough nut to crack, and very rarely do we have an absolutely perfect day for outdoor portraits, but unless the temperature is expected to be below 45 degrees, it’s raining, or we have a freak tornado, the show must go on.  However, in the event of inclement weather, I will work with all of the affected clients to try to reschedule the sessions. Since I can’t control the weather or a client’s availability to reschedule, if the client is unable to move to a new date, the reservation fee is non-refundable but may be applied toward a future session if it is done within 6 months of the original session date.

Q:  What happens if I end up with a super sick kid or some other unexpected event causes us to need to cancel our session?

A:  Obviously, the unexpected can crop up at anytime.  Keep in mind that if you are unable to keep your session as scheduled, you’ve potentially taken a spot that another family could have booked, so unless it’s an extenuating circumstance causing you cancel, please make every effort to keep your appointment.  If cancellation is unavoidable, the reservation fee is non-refundable but may be applied toward a future session if it is done within 6 months of the original session date.
